The Giant’s Causeway and Bushmills Railway provides a passenger link between the historic town of Bushmills and the famous stone columns of the Giants Causeway World Heritage site. The current steam railway, built to the Irish narrow gauge of three feet opened in 2002. It runs for two miles along a magnificent coastal route following the track bed of the former Giants Causeway Tram (the world’s first hydro-electric tramway).
