Hollyhocks and Poppies – acrylic painting
My Mother’s masterpiece is her garden. It is always colourful, always changing and certainly always beautiful.
It is especially wonderful in the evening. When the sun begins to set, the sky’s colours compete and combine with the flowers and the view becomes a multi-coloured patchwork.
This painting is my impression of the deliciously riotous colour mix. In acrylic on stretched canvas, measuring 8 x 14¾ inches.
