TT Talbot Trio

After Le Mans style starts at both the 1928 and 1929 events, the 1930 Ards TT race started less spectacularly, with groups of cars moving off at intervals. These Talbot cars, of Brian Lewis, John Hindmarsh and Hugh Eaton, set off with the big OMs after the Bentleys and 1750cc Alfas. Their silent, non-stop runs were a notable feature of the 1930 Ards TT but, unsupercharged as they were, they were overpowered by the Alfas which took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

TT Talbot painting – 13 x 18¾ inches. Sold unframed, but with an antique white mount and backing board.
Original acrylic painting – £895.00, including complimentary UK delivery.
