Prince Bira’s ERA in Limerick

The Limerick Grand Prix ran on the streets of Limerick, Ireland, in 1935, 1936 and 1938 and were the first Irish events to see ERA racing cars.

My painting shows Prince Bira & Arthur Dobson racing a pair of ERAs at the 1936 Limerick Grand Prix.

The original acrylic painting 20 x 16 inches.

Debra Wenlock Artist with Prince Bira's ERA 'Remus'
Here’s me in the Paddock at Goodwood Revival with “Remus” – the car from the painting,

the very same ERA car that Prince Bira raced at Limerick!
