A view from Sketrick Island taking in the Ballydorn Lightship and looking across Strangford Lough to Scrabo Tower. Former Irish Lights lightship “Petrel”, spent most of her service life at Blackwater Bank on the River Blackwater, Wexford. Decommissioned in 1968 she became the Club House of the Down Cruising Club at Ballydorn, County Down in Northern Ireland and makes a striking “landmark” on the shore of Strangford Lough.
