Princess, watercolour painting


"Princess" was the first Irish built steam locomotive. Built at the Grand Canal Street Works in 1841, she ran on the Dublin and Kingstown Railway.

This painting was commissioned by the Ulster Fok and Transport Museum and is displayed with the Irish Railway Collection, at Cultra, Holywood, Northern Ireland.
