World Rally Championship - Rally Ireland
The penultimate round of the WRC, Rally Ireland takes place from 15th to 18th November 2007, commencing with a Super Special Stage at Parliament buildings at Stormont, Belfast - Northern Ireland's Parliament Buildings, on Thursday evening. The event route includes eight counties, both north and south of Ireland with excellent challenging stages in the Sligo mountains and Fermanagh Lakeland, and the rally will conclude on Sunday with a Special Stage at Mullaghmore, County Sligo.
Many of the WRC field have not yet driven on Ireland's bumpy and narrow roads, so local talent will have an opportunity to shine and we may very well see home drivers fighting for points.
