Ards TT

Celebrating the 1928 - 1936 RAC Ulster Tourist Trophy

"Bradshaw's Brae" - acrylic, 23 x 17 inches

Rolls Bently, Eddie Hall, 1936 Ards TT

Eddie Hall's Rolls Bentley descends Bradshaw's Brae in the 1936 Ards TT, completing the whole race without refueling. Hall was one of only two drivers who competed in all of the RAC Tourist Trophy races at the Ards circuit between 1928 and 1936, the other being Earl Howe. He finished second, for the third year in a row, coming in just one minute behind the winning Dixon / Dodson Riley.
Take a closer look and you might just see a bi-plane flying out of the left side of the painting trailing an advertising banner with the slogan 'Girling Brakes World's Best' courtesy of Sir Alan Cobham's Flying Circus!

Original painting - 860.00 (click price for purchase page).
